Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the east to a Marshal, Valanthe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
