Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Dwarf, and stands approximately 4'5". He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull brown iron scale mail, and his gloved hand is found clutching a longsword. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. This amber eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her hand crossbow with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She has blue eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Katherine's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Katherine was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-elven people
