History: Born in the east to a Animal Trainer, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He struck the Animal Trainer job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. Her brown hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Beggar who has hired her part-time. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Ahlyssa liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
