Vani grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vani. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Bricklayer business.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born to a Armorer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
