History: Medrash was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
