History: Naeris was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naeris grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naeris. Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Aelar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anne was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Drifting took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
