Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Melech was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is violet, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. He carries a battered kukri and tarnished quarterstaff as well. His crest, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling red eyes.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gorbundus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and many brigands want him driven away

Description: She dresses like a well dressed Sailor does. She keeps her long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Margery was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sailor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again.

Description: This woman wears tattered old clothes. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on her left hand. She has shaved her head bald. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Philomena hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her music career. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 6'2". She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and her gloved hand is found clutching a greataxe. She has dyed her greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. Her eyes are silver.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Seere is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to clean up the streets
