Her brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born into a rich family. She found a children's book about a Halfling Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: This light-skinned male is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Description: This man is very fat, and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Faran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. Her purple hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her fierce white eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Markosian embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Markosian learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His half smiles and white eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
