Personality: Zook is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zook was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Personality: Mella speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Mella is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a miller and was forced into it by her family

History: Born to a Stylist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
