History: Joan lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sekhmet fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Guard. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
