History: Baradad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Cartwright, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Nedda lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Nedda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people
