History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Veloptima reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Silent will drive conversation. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Ahvain was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
