History: Fenriz hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Barrister kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Caramip never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
