History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Whurbin and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Dean was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently the stress of being a Beggar has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: Born in the west to a Carpenter, Birel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a simple red robe with brown stripes complete with hood. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is auburn and very short. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
