He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Mardnab is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Mardnab was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Corkitron is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Corkitron was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
