Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Vani was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Blendaeth was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carter. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She now owns her own business.
