Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Astar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Mara will drive conversation. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels threatened by others

Description: An older man who wears silk and lounges about seductively, he is not a threatening figure. His gold crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His gold eyes peer out from beneath his broad green hat.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Pandjed was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: Born to a Miller, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to work out more often
