History: Hobart was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She wears tattered old clothes. Her chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Merla was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Merla was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This man tends to wear a large red jacket. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
