Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barber.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student she started as a Painter, but she got bored and became a Tanner. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a painter again

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he is greedy

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She wears violet trousers with grey and brown striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. A true patriot, Vlorn would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Vlorn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
