Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a spear on his belt. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a red collared shirt and green skirt. She accessorizes with a brown scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her silver hair is braided into rings. Her hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Callie learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and balancing her hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His golden hair is cut short. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Naeris is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Naeris was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to reunite with his absent mother
