History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Melech was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Melech's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Unemployed, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student she started as a Unemployed, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She now owns her own business.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Mozfel is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Performer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born into a rich family. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Stableman, and she later adopted a second son.
