History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by illithids. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Baelitae lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
