History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Yebe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Yebe. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Born in the east to a Sage, Korfel learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
