History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Ront was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Ront took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Nikki lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has never given up on her music dream.
