Personality: Art is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Art lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Mortician father left him crippled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Adventurer and was forced into it by his family; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her half smiles and silver eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'6" and wears bulky yellow painted plate armor. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: She wears professional attire, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'4" when asserting herself. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed yellow hat.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
