Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Birel was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she wants revenge against brigands

History: Born to a Herbalist, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
