Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Ahinar was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ahinar's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Born to a Hunter, her father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He wears a colorful flower in his blonde hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
