She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Ekk was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Actor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants to get laid

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Shepherd, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
