Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a Knight, her father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
