Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Assassin mother left her crippled. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep

He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears skinny pants and wears a blue and pastel robe with the hood down. Her chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Theirastra's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and sabotage a competitor
