When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in bastard sword use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
