History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Bucklal's homeland. Bucklal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Nagrette was born with her mother's beautiful face. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
