Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. His green crest has been sun bleached extensively. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. His tied-back hair is red. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Volen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Melissa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Ulla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
