History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
