Description: This man stands a little under 6'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. He has wavy golden hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Shaká was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shaká decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: She wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available she will default to her halberd. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. She has wavy golden hair. Her eyes are green and beady.
Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: Mumpena was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: Standing 6'5", this man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. He keeps his white crest in a pixie cut. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Architect. He became a Architect soon after.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his brother
