History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Lia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
