History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'1" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Nyx learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nedda will drive conversation. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born in the west. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: William hails from a village terrorized by drow. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow.
