Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is typically in her Sage uniform. She has slicked back black hair. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Emma was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Emma decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now owns her own business.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: This dark-skinned female wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her brown hair is lengthy. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.
Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Helen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears grey trousers with white and tan striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Shipwright, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Bowyer like his father before him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His hair is short and blonde. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sage profession.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: She has a missing left leg. She wears dull violet sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case. She has done her best to style her golden hair to look like a famous performer. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Laborer and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well
