History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Bookbinder soon after.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and further expansion of business

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His fur is orange and very short. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jade is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jade grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Baern lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
