Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Jak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Jak took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this northern man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. With bright silver hair and a scraggly beard. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Enidda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He is a husky man, who prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. His white crest is thinning but still full. His half smiles and gold eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Laborer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others
