Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gubrash's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Gubrash learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to end his boredom

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She tends to her Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
