Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Nicholas's homeland. Nicholas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Architect. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she usually wears her brown robe and has her bastard sword always slung over her shoulder. Her white fur is still thick. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. River is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
