History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
