History: Gifted from a young age, Biri studied abroad. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She became a Soapmaker soon after.

Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her white eyes.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Decarabia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Meriele was born with her mother's beautiful face. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. After a long history of fighting, Meriele and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
