History: Seraphina was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Seraphina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Seraphina. She has achieved small success as a Weaver.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Donella was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Donella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Gomory was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gomory's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
