Personality: Nyx hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Nyx lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Aelar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, Therlin was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
