History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fisher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
