He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theobald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Nim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Nim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
