Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Chad was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
