History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Modean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Modean and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Rosalind was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and wants to raise her children well
